Michale pre-race. We are just about to work out our individual strategies on how we are going to do in the race. Michael will be attacking Clint a.k.a. "Silver Fox", Kurt will challenge the Experts and I'll be riding against some of the guys I've been eying all season trying to edge up into the 5th spot in the series.
Kurt and I drove up to Maine the night before the race. Michael and his brother were up in Maine with family so we met prior to the race and did a pre-ride. The course was a half-and-half mix of techincal shore-line rocks and fast packed sand. Michael's brother Andy here from NC on his single speed. This course was tough but beautiful!
