Ron and Keith discuss the benefits of tele-commuting for the technology sector;
1. Environmental impact (commuting, company building, etc.)
2. Recruit from the entire country/world
3. Have defined tasks, measure output, fire slackers
Seems pretty simple? People can't think outside their coffee/traffic routine.
The correct infrastructure doesn't yet exist for many companies yet. They are behind in technology (understanding) and they'll worry so much about their precious data- without the realization that solutions exist. This will probably be a booming industry including virtualization techniques.
